This study represents an exploratory analysis of the natural sciences learning process during the first and second periods of the 2021 school year, at the Álvaro Molina Technical Educational Institution located in the rural area of the Chaparral, Tolima, Cañón de las Hermosas municipality. From sixth to ninth grades, a baseline analysis was conducted using a Microsoft Forms survey to determine which topics were considered of interest and which were not within the Natural Sciences subjects. Likewise, it was explored what learning impacted developing an experiment and whether they would like to have practical activities within these various topics. A total of 88 surveys were conducted virtually, with the participation of 19 students in sixth grade, 22 students in seventh and eighth grades, and finally, 25 students in ninth grade. Students in grades six through nine showed a general interest in areas that included practical activities and cooperative work, with a tendency to foster a greater number of learning spaces through processes that involve problem-solving and project-based learning.Downloads
