Bibliometric analysis of the Journal of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Cundinamarca in the period 2020-2021

Abstract

Bibliometrics is a widely used method for exploring the impact of scientific production in a given field of research. In this case, for the Revista Ciencias Agropecuarias (RCA), a bibliometric study was conducted for the 2020-2021 period using metadata provided by Google Scholar, records from the RCA database, and basic statistical analysis. In conclusion, significant growth was observed in both the number of publications and citations, demonstrating the importance of the field of agricultural research and the journal's impact through its citations.
