The migration of different species as a result of climate change and habitat destruction has promoted the displacement of species and the colonization of other niches with favorable environmental conditions. Furthermore, the commercialization of agricultural production promoted by economic globalization has encouraged the introduction and domestication of new species in different geographic locations for other purposes, such as industrial, ornamental, and forestry (1). Thus, we can recognize exotic, invasive, or introduced species that are naturally, intentionally, or accidentally released into other habitats with favorable conditions for their propagation.Downloads
