This work explores the aesthetic and historical dimensions of equine culture in Colombia. As a formal and methodological guide, it is inspired by the Persian artistic practice of miniature paintings from the 15th century Herat school. For this, compositions are presented in which Colombian equestrian practices are contrasted with narco aesthetics. Through a series of drawings and paintings supported by written texts, this project aims to document various sociocultural, economic, and aesthetic aspects of Colombian life. The selected texts illuminate the artist’s intentions and resolutions by representing the elements of Colombian society and their different roles in narcoculture. This series highlights the symbolic meaning of horses in drug trafficking, reflecting conditions such as power, violence, and opulence. Through vivid images and textual analysis, this work offers a nuanced reflection and exploration of the intersection between equine culture and narcoaesthetics in Colombia.Downloads
